About the Role

We’re hiring a Backend Engineer with a Forward Deployed mindset to help enterprise product teams adopt the backend side of the Restack Boilerplate — our Python-based reference implementation for AI agents, workflows, evaluation, and tool orchestration.

You’ll customize backend services, workflows, integrations, and simulation environments for large US enterprises running advanced agent systems on Restack.

You will collaborate directly with product teams, build bespoke features for POCs, and create reusable enterprise modules.

What You’ll Do

Backend Engineering (Python)

• Extend and customize the Restack Boilerplate backend (Python)
• Build durable workflows, agent logic, and tool execution layers
• Integrate with enterprise APIs (internal tools, CRMs, ERPs, analytics, etc.)
• Implement evaluation pipelines, agent state/memory models, and simulation tasks
• Work with Temporal/Kubernetes-based execution flows (with our guidance)
• Build reusable Python modules that product teams can customize
