About the Role

We’re looking for a Junior Social Media & Events Marketing teammate to help us grow Restack’s presence across the AI ecosystem in San Francisco.

You’ll create content for LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and our online community, and you’ll also help plan, prepare, and attend our weekly events, including breakfast meetups, workshops, partner gatherings, and local AI hackathons.

This role is perfect for someone early in their career who wants to learn fast, be part of the AI startup world, and work closely with founders.

What You’ll Do

Social Media & Content (80%)

• Create and schedule posts for LinkedIn & Twitter/X • Turn product updates, customer stories, and founder insights into engaging content • Capture behind-the-scenes moments from events & SF community gatherings • Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth) and iterate • Help develop simple graphics and short-form video clips • Maintain a consistent tone & brand identity

Events & Community (20%)

• Support planning and logistics for SF-based events: breakfasts, meetups, workshops, panel nights • Attend events and act as the on-site content creator (photos, videos, interviews, recaps) • Help with RSVPs, check-in, badges, signs, room setup • Coordinate with partners, venues, and attendees • Prepare post-event recaps for social media & newsletters

Requirements

Must-haves

• Strong writing skills and social media instincts • Comfortable on camera & speaking with people • Based in San Francisco (or willing to relocate) • Available to attend events in person (often mornings or evenings) • Curious about AI, developer tools, and tech culture • Highly organized and reliable
